Brisa was extremely frustrating for me. It's a free pattern from knitty.com. I ended up frogging it (when you unravel something, you rip-it, rip-it, get it?) three times. My inexperience with lace and loose knitting style were the culprit. Also, I changed to Lion Brand Microspun yarn in Turquoise because I liked the shine of it, but the large needle size made a floppy fabric. Other things I'd change would be to use the same needle size for the ladder lace as for the body. The pattern recommends 2x smaller for the lace, but I ended up with a huge upper body trying to make the ladder lace large enough to go around me (I'm a medium-sized chick)! Brisa has not seen the last of me.
