Ooh Baby

I bought this yarn online from Knit Picks, it's called Get Away, the color is Wading Pool.  I certainly wanted to get away when it came in the mail: loved the online picture, hated the reality.  I decided to make this top so that it could be worn with jeans, I think that's the only thing this will look good with.  I hate working with novelty yarn, I think I'm going to join the ranks of the Yarn Snobs and never touch "Fou Fou" yarn again.  Famous last words.  The pattern is Ooh Baby from The Yarn Girls Guide to Simple Knits, and was pretty easy to do.  However, I got bored with the turtleneck and only knitted 3-1/2 inches instead of the 7-1/2 inches called for.   A mock turtleneck is more comfortable in the summertime, anyway.  Again, intended to add sleeves, but ran out of yarn.  Sleeves are somehow jinxed this summer.  Oh well, shivering burns more calories .
